From 1 January 2027 – Electronic Higher Education Diplomas in Poland

From 1 January 2027, the electronic diploma will become the standard form of documentation confirming completion of higher education in the Republic of Poland. Polish higher education institutions will issue an electronic diploma confirming completion of studies together with a diploma supplement.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science stipulates that, as of 1 January 2027, diplomas issued by Polish higher education institutions confirming completion of studies, as well as other documents issued during or upon completion of studies, will be issued in electronic form.

Graduates of Polish higher education institutions will be able to apply for and obtain electronic copies of their higher education diplomas in English, French, Spanish, German or Russian, as well as a diploma supplement in English.
